This is my new viola. It is a Maggini model.  The viola is 14 13/ 16 th ", 378 mm back length.  The instrument is designed for younger players, or players, including violinists who want a small viola with a very good sound. Despite it relatively small size , this instrument has a very large tone, and an especially strong "C".

 This is the back of the new viola. It is made from some deeply figured Bosnian Maple I have had for some years, waiting to be made up in the right instrument.
